Frequently asked questions
Will Exogard fit my bike?
Kits are available in various sizes for Road, MTB and e-Bikes. Each piece of film is precisely cut to provide the best possible fit, with only minor trimming to adjust some lengths to your specific frame. Our pre-cut kits cover the majority of major bike brands and frames, and we are also able to provide custom kits if required. If you’re unsure which size kit is right for you contact us with your bike model and size and we’ll guide you.
How does Exogard work?
Our Paint Protection Film (PPF) has been specifically designed and manufacured using the latest technology and performs to the highest of quality standards. The positioning fluid allows each component to be moved into the correct position when applied to the frame. Once correctly located, the microblade is used to remove all air and fluid left beneath the film. Removing the air and fluid activates the adhesive properties and forms a strong bond with the frame. Keep your bike inside for 24 hours for full fix.
Can the film be removed?
Yes, if you wish to remove the film from your frame you can this easily at any time. To remove the film heat it with a hair dryer, picking a corner and simply peal it back slowly at an obtuse angle. Use caution when removing film over decals, in some instances these can come off with the film. No sticky residue or glue is left on the frame afterwards.
